Hi all,

I've got a DR350S in Dallas and want it shipped to Connecticut where
I'm currently working.
Anybody have any suggestions who to use for shipping and what to watch
out for?

Riding Season is here!!!! YEA!!

Thanks

Dave

Dean,
This might be a way to get part of your "potential trip to Arkansas"
expenses reimbursed.

Dave,
Have any friends traveling to Arkansas in the near future? I'm 300
miles east of Dallas, and 70 miles east of Tetragonal.

Other than that, I used a crate from a motorcycle shop and delivered
the crate to Forward Air Trucking. Forward Air shipped it to a
terminal near my customer.

If you rent one of FA's motorcycle crates, be prepared to pay
through the nose. If you use any other carrier, be prepared to pay
through the nose.
In fact, just be prepared to pay through the nose.

One more option, would be to contact one of those folks with a "hot
shot" rig, who carry bikes in an open trailer coast to coast.

Good Riding and Shipping to You!

My butt just aches thinking of that. I've got the original factory
seat and it's not to comfortable.

I think the disassemble idea is great, but I'm here in connecticut and
don't have the time to fly back to dallas and build a crate and put
the bike into it.
Maybe on the way back to dallas I'll do that.

I'm just hoping to find a good shipper for $400 or so. I may be SOL
for that.
