Because I can't find how to rationally justify supporting Honda.

Linkage bearing pins, that hollow tube that goes through the linkage
bearing.
Swingarm bearing
3 linkage bearing seals.

All parts that wear out with normal use. Not obscure parts that
"nobody breaks". And it is not a niche bike, it is the fifth most sold
motorcycle in this country since it was released back in 2001!!!

yet, after paying in advance (!) I am waiting. 17 days and counting.

I lost yesterday's ride on the heaven town named Bezerros. Sidehills
and rocks. :'-(

To make me fell "better", I know that their huge parts warehouse that
stands for over 10 states is less than 10km from my house.

If its such a normal wear item, why don't you stock it for yourself? I
keep extra brake pads, tires, tubes, air filters, oil filters, spark
plugs, wheel bearings, and even a spare heim bearing for my KTM.

Or you could buy a KTM and not have any linkage to wear out. The heim
bearing KTM uses along with new seals and spacers is available from
several sources for about $40.

I did not had to buy the bearings, I had them stocked... But the pins
were too bad to be reused and three out of 10 seals were torn... I
keep spares of everything, filters, bearings, I have a full box of
goodies... What I can't believe is that a normal wear item is not
stocked by a large dealer! Worse, why it takes so long! I want to
ride!!!!

KTMs are sweet, but way too expensive for me... I'd love to have a
modern two stroke bike.

I keep hearing that but having purchased a new KTM in 2003 and again in
2008 I don't see it. Especially in 2003 where there was nothing equal to
a 450 EXC. All the Japanese had were MX bikes which needed a lot of
careful tweaking and expense to tame for woods riding.

Rode a friend's brand new 2nd outing 2008 CRF450X about 5 miles Sunday
and it really pained him to return my 2008 450 XCR-W. He has a lot of
tuning yet to do on that bike. Clickers and preload are where the dealer
left them on delivery, and its awful. The front tire has no traction
because it won't stay in contact with the ground at 10 MPH. Gave serious
consideration toward spinning his clickers but it wasn't my bike and he
wanted to consult with his salesman. I know his salesman and it is wise
to wait, he knows CRF's.

But I'd swear his handlebars must be 40" wide! I use uncut Mini High's.

Ah, but you aren't buying your bikes in Brazil. It's seems to be a
slightly different market.
Here in the U.S., I totally agree.
