So I went down to the AMA flea market/ races  at mid Ohio last weekend. And
it was damnhot. And Id like to ride in. With a pit bike.  From camping
instead of sweating my balls off. Walking.  I saw just about every two
wheeler bike, pit bike/ scooter in existence. And I'm thinking of getting a
bike for down there to ride in with.  That I can put on a bumper carrier and
take with me.   I saw Bobbie Rahall on a scooter riding around.   So they
aren't out of the question.

But , I don't want to spend a lot. Cuz I'm not gonna ride a lot.  And I
don't care how it looks , or if its street legal. I want it reliable and
easy to fix. I'm 6 ft tall and 220 lbs.  And I'm wanting something older cuz
of cost.  I doubt I will go over $650, but I could if I had too.

My past interest have been   Honda CTs or trails,

This is some craigs list of local bikes .

 nospam@nospam.none says...

The 200 cc bike above is very big for a pit bike, even at 6 feet, a
honda 80 or something similar (4 stroke) with a bit of spring added
might be better. That thing is gonna be heavy too. The biggest 4 stroke
I might use for a pitbike is something like a Kawasaki KLX 110 or
something.

Above (the 125) is not a pitbike, it's a motocross bike, a two stroke
that wants to run balls to the wall and that don't do good in the pits.

Again, the yz250 is a pretty hearty motocross bike, although a four
stroke, it's a 260 pound dry weight and really wants to be on a track
running. You would never get any of the three bikes above out of first
gear in any organized pit...

Although, not what I would ride, above is probably the best bet for a
pit bike of the four you noted...  Here is my pitbike;)

Yup, it's a hard tail. This is my kid on the track with it screwing
around, but it's great at places like Southwick in the pits where the
hill is crazy for an old man like me... But again, of the 4 you noted, I
would say, the moped would best suit your needs... Just my $.02.

... Just my $.02.

$50 says I know where this is heading.

Funny when supposed cleverness is completely transparent.
