o RMD's of vast diverse experience....
anyone ever use either of these methods??
I hear they shoot glop faster than that exorcist girl...
I have a potential project that I am sure
if it goes I'll be "volunteered" to help...
which is
less expensive `10,000 square feet applied.
easier for untrained/slightly trained operators.
better finished product (if properly applied)
might have a section for storage of dirtbikes & other fun stuff

I was a subcontractor on a project where there was shotcrete used for a
retaining wall & foundation.

No idea.

Neither are easy, period. Takes a lot of training/practice/skill to
successfully apply either product.

See above. If done correctly, either can provide a good finished product.

Problems occured with "rebound," and shadows where the material was not
uniformly applied. The shotcrete contractor lost his shirt, and the
walls were never something I would want to use myself...

IOW, ATV riders can't be trained do it. You'll be fine though, John.
Just read the instructions.

ATV riders? sure you can train them
it just involves shock collars & beer
instructions?? pfftt it can't be that different
from a flame thrower... daddy why does
that bald man have no eyebrows....
seriously it doesn't look that bad, the dry
unit looks like it would be lighter to operate
but then again bags of cement are heavy...
the project involves fire resistant structure
60 free span, and a low heat signature.
I was thinking a rebar geodesic type dome
foamed and sprayed with concrete might work
pretty well.. less sight prep and it will blend into
the terrain

A Dutchman was explaining the red, white,
and blue Netherlands flag to an American.
"Our flag is symbolic of our taxes. We get
red when we talk about them, white when
we get our tax bills, and blue after we pay
them." The American nodded. "It's the
same in the USA only we see stars too!"
