The latest Windows update for XP is making computers with Zone alarm
lose connectivity to the internet, even though all connections look
good.
Two bandaids have been suggested. One turn all ZA settings to medium,
which did not work for us. Reverting back to a previous windows
"restore point" which worked for us..
Good luck..

Both of our systems were malfunctioning with IE and Foxfire... Both
running XP SP2. Reports from our peers suggests that SP3 is not a
problem so far, nor Vista, or other anti-virus packages. We did find
it with several versions including pro and free versions of ZA.
