happy 1-11-10 everybody.
I haven't been paying attention.
Is anybody riding with the number one (1) plate this year?

I was thinking about Bubba.
I saw the end of his appearance on MTV's Cribs. The Harry Reid side of
me was not loving much of that. I am not sure he has handled his
success with the grace I hoped for.
But he's famous for grace on the track and that's what comes back to
kindle my deep respect for the guy. I will never ever forget watching
him cresting through the old woods section at Southwick, flying a line
that nobody could even envision; sort of a Bubba Scrub with a 90
degree right turn where everybody else was rolling and berming.
And the Bubba Scrub. Who else in our sport, outside of FMX, has skills
or techniques named after them?
...just rambling here.

Well, you just need to load your ass up and head down to Haines City,
FL and see the culture of the people. Just don't talk too much about
Harry Reid as the seniors will beat you with their walking sticks. I
should know, I lived about 15 miles away from his family home and grew
up in "said" culture.
Basically, James appears to be the normal teenage boy, but with plenty
of cash to actually buy the cool things most teens dream of. Good for
him.
He is an amazing rider. I do the bubba scrub all the time. Not
pancake flat, but I do get back on the ground faster than I did
before. Works great on down hill water bars.

We have a couple (two that I can think of) that do it here, it is pretty
cool to see how quickly they get that power back to the ground. Man, I
am missing riding pretty badly. We have an indoor track here again this
year but it's way too expensive for me;) I might try to make a run south
next month with Jessi for a few days though.
Just got my season pass for Rocky Hill practice facility for '010,
yahoooooooo!!
Rowdy Mouse Racing, no spring flooding, no spring flooding, no
sprin......

Seems to me just the gas alone would pay for a couple days at
Mototown. Not to mention lodging etc.
IMHO, we are lucky to have that facility available. Support your
local track. Easy for me to say. I haven't ridden there yet.
Low tide is at 4:20. I think I'm safe to hit the beach today for a
quick lap or two.
I will watch out for small children. Large ones too.
Save the crabs!!!
