Well crap.  That will put an hour or two hole in my week every
week.

I just hope somebody gives the archives to Gurgle so
I can finally get a copy of the full page spread of me at
Watkins Glen in '83 which got lost during a house move
years ago.

The on-line version is still alive.  And today there is an article
about Werner and the Kawasaki, something we flat trackers
have been talking about here. .

http://www.cyclenews.com/articles/flat-track/2010/09/08/how-kawasaki-conquered-dirt-track

The smile on Werner's face in the pits after the Indy Mile,
with a can of beer in his hand, sitting in the back door of
his packed to the gills van, was awe inspiring.  The crowd
around the van, EZ-up, and Kaw was smiling almost as big.
I had to give my youngun a history lesson on the spot so
he'd understand what the hubbub was all about.

Go fast. Take chances.
