I just received news that Chris Buckly passed away from cancer on May 5.
Words escape me. I never got to ride with Chris. The one time I met him at
ISF was after his accident. We all know how frustrated he was that he
wasn't able to ride or play the guitar again.
I do think that he has at last found peace.

Thank you for letting us know, Jeff.
This greatly saddens me. I am thankful that he and Chris Jr were able
to come to the Spudfest, so that I could shake his hand and visit with
him in "real time". I will miss Chris, and his posts here.
I'm glad that usenet really is forever.
