Scott "Scooter" Larm, instructor at American Supercamp, apparently
took his own
life early last month. He and I had some excellent times, him showing
me
the line, me trying to stay on the friggin line. He sort of took my
son,
His Royal Highness, under his wing when we went to Supercamp together
last fall.
I just found out from a letter to the editor in Cycle Spew. Not sure
why it's
made me so maudlin this evening.
Scooter was the kind of guy I could bust balls with and my respect was
multiplied by his being faster than me. Wherever you ended up
Scooter,
I hope they've been wheel packing all day and there is traction.
