That's the stuff Deeny mentioned, Rotella T 15W-40. That's what's in
the other end of my Kubota's motor. Diesel oil has tons of detergents
in it, and is also made for brutal use and all that shear crap too.
There are a ton of people that use it in both sides of their CRF250s
and CRF450s. As luck would have it, I have a couple gallons of that
stuff kicking around too.

Rotella and Delo are both good oils. I use them in my old cars as
well. as they have extra zinc that help prevent non-roller cams from
going flat.

It's my understanding that Delo has changed formulas and is no
longer recommended by the engine folks.

Nah, it's still good oil. A guy on the Nova forum sent virgin oil
samples to a couple of independent labs. The results said it still
had good levels of zinc and phosphorous. Here's the thread.

I had thought it was more moly or some such clutch-beslippen' additive
that they had increased.
