So, the world became a little less fun now... :(
What a character. I wonder how he was in "real life". A guy who races
enduros with a dog perched on the gas tank *have* to be a good person.

Yeah, it's a true loss when unique characters like that leave us.

That's what I've always assumed. From what I've read over the years,
he was pretty much just a regular dirt biker that happened to love his
dog, and found out that his dog(s) liked it too. That sounds like good
people in my book, but I might be a little biased.

Yeah, I never met him but everything I've heard about him tells me he
was someone I could aspire to...
A friend's wife was trying to hit a home-run (sorry, an idiom for
something outstanding) on a Christmas gift for my friend...somehow
contacted Mr. McCown and he sent a big photo, signed, of him & Kookie
flying on his Husqvarna...
