Yea. Tivo rules.

I watched one of them the other night. The special sections
were pretty cool... grass turn, grass turn, rockpile! trials section!
I've never seen an enduro. Are they normally that difficult?
The one I watched (somewhere in Spain) had parts that'd be
at home on a trials loop, and a few that would make good section obstacles
for lesser talented club riders like me.

Eric,
We need to get you on a good loaner bike and go ride some gnarley
stuff. As soon as I can scrape up the cash, I'm getting a new GasGas
EC300. That means I will have a great loaner bike. Better yet, the
shift pattern is even normal again.

Your old bike was a BSA!?
I appreciate the offer!
I actually have an enduro bike.. a KDX. I got it to go trail
riding with my wife. But she decided that she wasn't that
interested in trail riding, we sold her XR when a friend
wanted it, and I haven't ridden the KDX since. I just haven't
had the time to do any dirt riding other than trials.

i've only done a few enduros, less than 10, but of the ones i've done,
i think only the arizona national looked like it was in the same
caliber as what those guys were doing, only the az race is longer.
of course, it's hard to tell on tv how hard something really his.
nothing looks as steep, so that stuff might be so gnarly i wouldn't be
able to get up any of it. usually, the really gnarly stuff is saved for
the a's and/or b's.

I have watched 2 of them. The other two are still on the Tivo waiting for
me.
God bless Tivo. If I had to choose between underwear and Tivo I'd be free
ballin for the rest of my life.
