I'm jealous. We were thrust into snowmobile season last night - first
accumulating snow of the season already. Forecasts say 5"-8" this
Saturday. That'll means 8"-10" up at JPE. **sigh** I haven't even
put in the sticks to mark my driveway yet, much less figured out where
I put them last year.
Oh well, that just means changing out my motorized fun from two wheels
to four. Time to dust off my 4x4 diesel ATV with rear-mount
snowblower. Yeeeee-hah!!

Tell me about it, I got out of MIT lincoln-labs about 5:30PM last
night and started west.
Thanks to route 2, 495, and 290 we didn't touch 90 until 10 mi from
I84, we actually made some time and missed a lot of stop&go.

Update: Received 26" of the not-so-fluffy white stuff up at JPE
Saturday night. Celebrated Halloween by driving my orange Kubota w/
3pt 6' snowblower up and down the drive. That thing could eat a car.
Shockingly, didn't lose power up there. Got out of there in the
afternoon and drove south, where I again celebrated Halloween pushing
an orange Ariens snowblower around for a while. Most trees damaged -
no power as we speak through most of the town. Subaru-powered
generator (re-jetted by me to a buttery smooth-running non-EPA
standard) doing a nice job keeping the place habitable.

Halloween was spent watching one daughter hand out candy
while other one scared them. Ghillie suits are great...
john

I've always wanted a Ghillie suit for exactly that reason. Halloween
was canceled in Southern NH due to the storm. Look for extra thin and
zit-free kiddies come Christmas.
