Farther west (SC stands for southern California). I live and work in Orange
County.

Like Other Tom, I needed something to differentiate myself from all the
other Toms.

I 40 runs out of Barstow (following old route 66). Many good open desert
areas. Lots of flat lands and if you go just a little south, many mountians
(hills to those of you who live where real mountains grow) to ride in.

Between I 40 and I 15 is a little area they call the Devils Play Ground.
Just don't try to play there in July or August.
