Every time it snows.
The remote valve system is mounted to a steel table/arm that I made,
which is bolted directly to the blower. When you remove the blower
from the tractor, the IN/OUT/PB lines are popped off of the tractor
and the whole blower/remote assembly is removed as a unit.
> how annoyed would you be if a line bleeds all over you?
Pretty annoyed. Why do you ask? I also hate it when I bump into my
loader or BH and get a blop of grease on me.

Horsepower's Theorem: Too much is just enough.
I bought the blower used from Craigs List - it already had dual
hydraulic chute controls (swing and flapper) on it. Asking $1500 for
the blower, but after much negotiation, it cost me $1350 and I talked
the guy into throwing in a 6' Woods grading blade for free - can't
sneeze at that. Unfortunately, my tractor doesn't have rear hydraulic
remotes, just a PB loop that I use to run my backhoe. The existing PB
loop returned to tank, thus bypassing the 3pt hitch, which isn't a
problem running the backhoe - not so good when running a 3pt-mounted
blower. I re-designed the hydraulic system to use my existing PB
connections to power the new set of remotes, while only requiring a
single additional hydraulic run on the tractor to bring the 3pt back
on line. The new set up is also much cleaner and easier to swap from
3pt operation to backhoe operation. Building the hydraulic remotes
(including valves, hoses, fittings, etc.) cost me ~$250, which is
about what a manual crank conversion would've cost (w/o flapper
control), so I figured I was better off. I got to learn all about
hydraulics too...

here it goes.

hmm 12+ times a winter?

so the underrated stuff stays with the blower... good...

oh then swap out the unit to the 2000+ psi unit
more than likely won't pop a fitting or have a blow out
but when I'm setting up hydro at the shop
I like having enough beef in hydro fittings to
accommodate towmotor rash...
