Trey Canard didn't have a good day in turn one, fought back hard.
Ryan Dungey went 1 and 1 in his final races, against the best in the
world.
Andrew Short was in 2nd place when Ben Townley "plowed him over" in
the first of Short's final two motos. In the next race, while chasing
Dungey and Short, Townley crashed out of third place and hurt his left
leg. DNF for Townley. Dungey gets 2nd. USA wins!

thanks, I think, cycle news still doesn't have a report, and my vintage
laptop was too slow to view the feed with any pleasure.

Excellent day, racing to the end. Best in the world. Bought
a Cairoli t-shirt (he is one ugly MoFo so we have something
in common). The lovely Paula and (not so lovely) Jeff hosted
us and entertained us all weekend, mucho thanks. (cool to
see Victor and Jim Brewer too, thanks for coming over guys)
France in 2011.
Go fast. Take chances.
