Will I be escorted out of this club as a neo-wannabe?  The big guy has
more motorcycles than me.  I want a younger, trimmer and prettier
complement, I know its me, but that old b*tch seemed to pack on the pounds
recently.  That hefti-cycle is somebody else's fun.

I don't want a girl friend as much as I want a motorcycle.  Sure a girl
friend will visit you in the nursing home, but a motorcycle will get you
away.

Grieving in Santa Clara,

Joe Rooney

I have some bicycles

Hey Joe, long time, no see.

The answer is obvious.  You need to replace her with a sleek young
lady.  One that you don't need to kick regularly for a response.  I
would suggest a CRF250X.   Mabye even a 230F would suit your needs.

Hurry up tho.  Idaho is only 3 weeks away.

I now have a Yamaha XT225 (04).  Probably weighs the same, but it has a
rimlock on the rear. and has the button.  It has a Tinkerbell decal above
the headlight.  I'm not sure it is coming off.  Got to see if the sag and
rebound can be adjusted.

Yeah, I wanted something bigger, but it only had a little over 900 miles
on it.

Cool! Gots one o' them too. (03). They are amazingly tractable. Keep an
eye on the spokes--they're one the skinny side and have a tendency to
loosen, and treat the carb with kid gloves. Those two black plastic
pieces covering the diaphragms are VERY difficult to replace.

It's probably jetted very lean if it's stock as well. The needle has no
adjustable notches, so to raise it (richer) I've found that standard #4
nylon washers fit perfectly (found mine at the local Ace Hardware). I
fattened up the pilot and main as well.
