28 Days -
RMD "group" would do second leg - from Panama City to Guatemala City.
Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, San Salvador, Guatemala
But any changes are cool as well - scuba, relaxing, snorkel, trinkets,
volcano climbing....etc.
Mexico and Belize can be options too.
How crazy would an adventure like this be??

Looks like fun and at a little over $200/day not bad.
However, it may depend on the robustness of your gastro/intestinal
tract. When was the last time you had the squirts for 28 days?
Don't forget the Kaopacktight and the Charmin' <G>

Sounds great to me! I really enjoyed Long Way Round, but all the while
I couldn't help but think that, given the same resources, Eric and I
coulda kicked all their asses on that ride!

Hell of a deal for a killer adventure.

Eric and I spent over 2 weeks in Mexico once, deep in the heart of the
Yucatan on our own in a rented VW bug. We ate everything in sight, and
lots of it, and never got sick. The trick is to take one swig of
Pepto-Bismol every morning, and then squeeze lime on everything. Limes
in Mexico are like salt and pepper here-they're everywhere. Makes
everything super-tasty, too.

The supplied bike is a KLR650.

Depending on where you are, PeptoBismol isn't going to help. I'd
steer clear of any fruits/vegetables that aren't cooked.
Victim of Cancun.
(un-fun)
