FYI, I'm penciling in a week long trip to Utah.  May 7-15th.   If
you've been wanting to come for a long time, this would be a great
opporunity.

I'm thinking of starting down in South Canyonlands.  Remote riding in
Beef Basin, Elephant Hill....

Moving to Hole in the Rock - The geographically most isolated area in
the lower 48.

Finishing either in Moab, or the San Rafael Swell.  Circle the Swell,
5MOH, Hanksville....

I'm thinking of mixing it up with some trail and dual sport rides.

It would be great to finally hook up with you & Julie on your spring
trip.

My son is reporting to the Navy on May 2nd, so I can't leave any
earlier.  A bit later would be a possibility, but it's starting to get
a bit warm.

We've gone 2 years in a row, looking to make it 3 now, all thanks to
your encouragement. Julie wants to tackle the White Rim trail again and
see if she can break her record :) I'm hoping to have my daughter & SIL
from Longmont join us too.

The timing shouldn't be a problem--last year we went a little earlier
(last week of April) and were wishing it was a bit warmer, so pushing it
back is fine. Although it could just as easily be colder, or hotter,
than we'd like. The weather doesn't really seem to take us into
consideration...

HellSickle knows the pencil is mightier than a XR250:

Penciled.

Go fast.  Take chances.
