Oh well, I had just finished telling a guy we had over 200 hours on
the bike and all we have changed is the oil, and one clutch lever then
I saw the signal... Looking over the back of the course for the Mouse
I saw her, arms straight out, then tapping her chest.. That is the
signal that mean she is ok, but the bike is not, so I took off across
the track to clear the carb and get her started.. Uh, no.. The rear
tire is sideways, and the thing will not move. Almost all of the
spokes are broken, I am not sure about the brakes, rear fork, chain
railer, etc yet as we have not gotten the mud off yet.. The Mouse is
holding up pretty well, knowing the season could be shot for now until
we can get it apart and restored. We won't be going to Southwick today
for the races, it's not a good weekend. I will be working on the big
bike tomorrow, I might drill a couple of holes in the steering shaft
so that I can put a cotter pin in to hold the front bearings tight, as
they keep loosening up every few laps the way it is.
Wish us luck, I will keep you all posted and try not to whine too
much;)
Later, RMR.. Still crash free since last month.. ;)

Well, we have the bike apart, and it looks like we only lost the
spokes. All the other parts I was concerened with seem to have faired
well. I am doing a google here and there, but any suggestions where to
get spokes fast and cheap will be appreciated. Thanks, RMR.
My next questions will revolve around stringing the wheel I would
suppose.
