I did it.
For the first time in my 46 years of motorcycle ownership, I purchased
a NEW Honda.  Although it felt a little weird, it wasn't painful.  :-)

Yesterday, I purchased a brand new 2007 CRF50.  As far as I could
tell, if I didn't purchase the bike by the end of the dealer's
business day on Monday, it would be a year before they would be on
sale again.

I have a Granddaughter who is turning three in May.  A good
grandfather has to be prepared.

Try to leave some knobs on the tires for when she actually gets it
from you!

Way to live the Scout Motto Jim!  I disagree with Dave though....break it in
and wear out the first set of tires....OEM's suck and need to be replaced
with good rubber anyway :-)

I'm sure Jim will be installing a lowering kit & training wheels to get his
granddaughter thru the first few rides.

As of yesterday, 2/10/09, ALL OHVs designed for kids 12 and under have
been pulled from the sales floor.  Dealers have also had to pull sales
brochures and are no longer allowed to even sell parts for these bikes/
kWads.  This is for all Japanese brands, all KTM minis, etc.  Cobra is
effectively shut down.

You get what you vote for.

Watch what they're going to be doing with firearms.  They can't ban
them, but they'll be able to stop the sale of ammunition with lead in
it.
