I spoke with RahRah today. He said that they had started prepping the
bikes for this weekend. Scott will ride the "Rowdy Bike" ('04 EC300)
in the Tennessee National. They will leave for TN on Saturday, I
believe.
I wonder if he will leave the trials tire on the rear?
I think that Jon has convinced Scott to enter the Open A class, but I
don't know that for certain..
Go Scott!!!!!

Yeah, he was waffling on the 300 for a while there because the 200
made him feel like he was going faster, though he admitted it was
probably just because he was riding around at 8K - 10K rpm all day on
the 200. I pointed out that the 300 lays down power so well that it's
easy to get goimg faster than you realize with it, and the extra
bottom end would be a big help in tight stuff. He gave it another try
and tells me he's liking it a lot better. They're going to work a
little bit on suspension settings tomorrow.

Me too. Thanks for the helmet cam loan, those videos are KEWL! I can't
wait to see his special test videos. If he has time at gas to swap
batteries and SD cards, he should be able to get them all.

At least they are keeping their story straight.

Oh, hell no. Knobs all around. I think he changed the front tire, too,
but I could be wrong.

Yeah, he did. They called the president of one of the enduro
organizations down there (there's like a hundred of them) and
discussed it with him, and he convinced Scott that it was OK since
he's never raced as a AA up here (his first race would have been this
Sunday) or raced an AMA National before. I think it's a good move. It
takes some of the pressure off, and saves money on entry fees, too.

Woo Hoo!!!
Thanks for your support, Jim. I'm probably going to owe you more than
a just set of footpegs for that bike before he gets through with it.
