I stopped by a guy's home with two bikes out front for sale. Inside
his garage he had a 1986 Husqvarna 500 cc bike with street plates. I
owned one of these once and the power was magnificent to say the
least, if not a bit scary. I can only imagine one of these in traffic.
I can imagine one with Tami riding it through downtown San Francisco.

Well, I gotta say, commuting on the Husky 610 has been way more fun
than should be legal. I don't even wanna ride my SV anymore, even
though it will still be my commuter. That Husky makes me smile just
thinking about it. I highly recommend them <G>

Speakin' of ultimate dual-sport options, how about this one?

Shit, I even want that! That's a seriously cool adventure bike.

Well how long did the cam chains last before they became too sloppy for the
adjuster to compensate for.  I have an 88 and after two from husky I bought
a box from the bearing place.  bike lacks cush drive hub and counter
balancer.  It is amazing how little they changed to turn a two stroke into a
four stroke.  There is some company with small vee twins perhaps aprilla a
450 and a 550 which seem to me the way to go however I couldn't see buying a
street registerable bike with the warranty they offer.  A friend of mine
test rode one and wasn't impressed.
