Eric has been telling me for years that our garage is too crowded and
that I absolutely *cannot* bring home another bike. He finally put his
foot down almost 3 years ago, right before I bought my new SV650. This
is what our garage looked like shortly after I brought it home...

I don't know what he's talking about. Anyway, he has since sold one of
the bikes in that photo (CR250) which, of course, left plenty of room
for my KTM 450 which I brought home shortly thereafter.
My SV has been kept in the backyard since then, as it's too difficult
for me to get it in and out without knocking something over.
Imagine my surprise, then, when Eric managed to fit this into our
garage!

If I'd known we coulda squeezed another bike into the garage (and a
behemoth one, at that) I would have looked at that new Husky a little
more seriously.
I knew Eric didn't know what he was talking about...

Your garage is plenty large enough for almost 2x as many bikes. You
just aren't utilizing it correcly. You aren't storing anyting at all
in the top half... :)

I am the self-proclaimed master of 3D garages. I totally agree. I'll send
Eric my plans for an elevated bike bench. You also have a lot of wall space
taken up by posters that could be better utilized. You definitely need more
shelves on the walls & ceiling.
I was out for a bicycle ride the other day & found some great benches in
someones driveway for free. It was really tough not to drag them home, but
something else would have to leave my garage (such as a car).

No, we just need less bikes. I suggested re-building the garage so
that it takes up more backyard space but Eric was against the idea. He
said it would just allow things to get more out of hand than they
already are.

I think I could fit my MR2 into the garage if we took out all the
bikes and the work bench...or maybe it would fit with the bench in
there...but we've never had a car in the garage. What a bizarre
concept.

Who the hell puts a *car* in the garage?
I've got a 20' X 24' detached and 2 -bay drive under garage + a 16X16
utility shed......with not a single car parked in the bunch over the last 6
years!
