The right side tie down popped. A better idea would have been to put
the front wheel in the trunk and let the back tire freewheel down the
road. What a waste.

I used to do that with my DT175 and a volvo wagon. Remove the chain and
listen to the knobby hum. Worked great, but I always expected to get a
ticket.
