For the first time since I got back into riding 10 years or so ago, I
winterized bikes today.  Haven't worried about it in the past since we rode
all winter.

This blows.

Is this change because your riding partner has left for greener
pastures, or something else?

It sucks too.

PartnerS, and, yes, for the most part.  Seriously considering investing in
some For Sale signs.

It sucks when something both sucks and blows.

You just need a winter home!

I like how you chose the word "investing." It's probably one of the few
times I've heard someone use that word in a way that conveys its
meaning...

Most people use it synonymously with "foolish discretionary spending."

 @news.individual.net:

They cost money, right?
There are only a couple/few weeks here where riding is out of the question.

When your entire contingent bails on you, it gets trickier.

Well, I do invest in the Powerball lottery on occasion...
