Wudi XII Ride / March 27/28, 2010 / Combs, AR

 

Well, the dates are finalized.

The 12th offering of the Wudsracer's Winter Fun Ride (WudiXII) will be
the weekend after the annual White Rock Mountain Enduro; March 27/28,
2010, at Combs, Arkansas, the same location as the White Rock Mountain
Enduro.
We are hoping to accomplish a couple of things by this move to late
March:
1.Better chance for warmer weather
2.The trail marking arrows will still be up from the enduro.

Some of the Minnesota riders are even planning on riding the enduro
one weekend, riding Brock Creek during the early part of the week, and
then coming back to Combs on Thursday for the start of the Wudi Ride.

Everyone is invited to come join us for the fun.

<side note>
March 27/28 will also be the dates for the first of the three annual
AHRMA CC Two Day ISDT Qualifier rides for 2010. However, something had
to give, so it was my participation with AHRMA that weekend. (My club
is hosting it, so I will still be doing preparation trail work. I just
won't be there for the event; but rather will be at the Wudi Ride.)
(One more note: Brock Creek is rugged riding, and is some 50 miles
from the site of the 2-Day ISDT Qualifier.)

I'll try to make it this year, if I have to come by myself (and I
might). John and Hank are looking at the Baja 500 which is in March.
Also my daughter's birthday is that weekend. I'll have to arrange
something. :)

Actually, the 500 is in June, but still too close to WUDI.

Damn!  Finally happending at a decent date & I blew my travel/vacation
budget by going last year.  That frozen mud pretty much destroyed my
wheel bearings, shock bushing, & didn't do the brake rotors any good.
