What? No mention of the banned wood preservative product? I love the
smell of that stuff. Dad still has a gallon. That stuff worked.

Yes.  You can't see the barbs, though.  And some of them are called
'jumping chollas' -- the entire loosely-attached sticker-cluster
detaches itself from the cactus rather than just a single sticker.

The desert will kill you if it gets half a chance.  Utah Juniper looks
pretty and friendly, but it will rip out your radio antenna without even
breathing hard if you get too close.
