Well folks, my physical therapy is complete and the Gassers are really
starting to yell at me every time I walk into the garage. So, I think I
will try to get out to Metcalf for my first off-road ride since the
surgery. Maybe this weekend! I expect to be very tired very quickly. I
plan to try to hit Metcalf quite a bit this summer as I work close to the
area a couple days a week. I can get in a couple hours before the sun
drops too low and try to get my endurance back.

It's about time! Geez, you've been milking that old shoulder injury
for MONTHS now.
In all seriousness, I'm really happy for you (and you KNOW that I can
feel your pain). I hope you can carry over some of the patience that
you've used to be good this long, and don't get over-exuberant too
soon.
And yes, you WILL get really tired really quickly. We can only wish
that it would come back as quick as it left us. Have a great time!
Personally, I'm getting ready and excited for a great WUDI. There are
rumors of crawdad feeds and a whole pig roast. Riding in several
different areas. Hanging out with the Cooks and Phil and RahRah (at
least part of the time). It's gonna be AWESOME!!!
Later this summer we should try to meet you, Tami, and Eric somewhere
between us...southern Oregon, or Shasta maybe. Think about it.
