A guy I know stumbled across a CB50 still in a crate from 1997 ... Just
wondering if it is perhaps any more of a significant bike than he thought it
was.

A double overhead cam 50cc single road/cafe racer?
That seems like it would be a very cool little bike. I'd happily park
it with my modest collection, and I don't have a single street (only)
bike inthere right now.

I just found out my neighbor still has the origional QA50 we used to
scream around the yard with back in the early 70's. Knowing how they
kept it back then, it's probably still mint.. I am trying to see if
they want to sell it, at the same time, telling them to keep if for
their own grandkids. Around here the guys take them, trick the
engines, and spend several thousand dollars on suspension and have a
short season racing circuit... Funny as hell to see those big guys on
those little bikes;)

Oooops. Totally different configuration on the QA... in my defence, it
has been nearly 40 years since I saw the bike.. ;) Carry on... Scotty
