note to self john's mug of coffee
holds 3 or 4 cups of liquid, when this liquid
is whiskey i snore LOUD..
anyhow "i" slept well,
i do like the idea about sweating the virus out,
nickel sized chunks this morning (maybe that's
the hope & change what's his face promised)

My dad's recipe for helping get over a cold or sometimes getting rid
of it:
Take a hot shower or preferably a bath as hot as you can stand it.
Put on long underwear and warm pajamas or sweats & sweatshirt.
Drink a hot cup of tea laced with something strong or make a hot toddy
or irish coffee would work (as long as it's decaf)
Put a change of jammies next to the bed and climb under the covers
with an extra blanket or two.
You'll wake up soaked in sweat a few hours later. Change into dry
jammies and get straight back into bed.
The explanation: viruses are too small to be filtered by the skin, so
you can literally sweat them out. If your cold hasn't progressed too
far (it sounds like yours may have), this procedure won't get rid of
your cold, but you will get a wonderful night's sleep which IMO worth
its weight in gold.
As far as Irish coffee directions go, just depends on how plastered
you want to get. :-)
Hope you feel better soon.
