 john asks:

Lots of closed roads here yesterday.  We're on high
ground too but still got a little bit of seepage
in the basement.  Dried up by itself by evening.

Rumor is that Chagrin River bridge coming into
Chagrin Falls is permanently broken.

Worst I had - my driveway is steep grade the last 30
yards down to the road.  The gravel washes down and
I plow it back up with the tractor to cover the washouts.
Yesterday the road (not just in front of my drive) was
covered with everybody's gravel so the township came
out and scraped it off.  Stole my gravel!  Nothing to plow
back up.

Go fast. Take chances.

 john retorts:

Amy the Wonder Wife is advocating putting
down asphalt.  Now if there was enough slush
fund to make it part of a supermoto track too......

Go fast. Take chances.

 "sturd" <m

the local cement guys used to be able to "dump" the
remainder of their load if it was small on their
way back from the job... the company changed policy
and thereby removing hope of me getting a
cement driveway in 200 weekly installments <grin>
oh well the though of forming up a few hundred
cement forms wasn't high on the list anyhow...
don't worry I bought my annual lotto ticket this morning
and I'm sure it's a winner so......
"follow the yellow brick road"
