any other rmd's have a pickup
with the death wobble?
i fixed it last night
rides like a much new-er truck now.
the wobble was an oscillation in the front
that only stopped when you wobbled to a stop
a new steering stabilizer shock didn't do it...
<a dodge steering BOX stabilizer did>
after bolting on a angle bracket under
the sway bar mounts that coupled
with the steering nut assy via a snazzy socket
the dreaded death wobble is solved.
i seems the steering box is only mounted at
the top so by bracing it at the bottom it
eliminated the flex/oscillation issue <grin>

Nice.
I took the van to The Man today. I just can't fix everything myself
any more, because things go unfixed for far too long. It probably
needs a fuel pump - terrible job anyway, BTDT. If things go right (or
wrong depending on your point of view), the van might be near your
neighborhood soon.
Something about old motorcycles...

I wish some of you guys driving crap lived nearby- I'd have a lift by
now...
BTW my 2003 subaru with 160K is not crap- I hope.

not my truck but this is what was happening
replaced most of the suspension wear bits.
then added a thing similar to this
