Hi all! Long time, no E. How's things?

I haven't been riding the dirt bike much at all - I took it out for a
gentle dual sport ride back in February and it hasn't moved since.
I've been riding my trials bike a lot lately. I sorta got into trials
a few years ago, but it fizzled out before it took off. This time it
seems to have stuck. I've been competing in local(ish) events this
year and am finally starting to learn a little. I've been riding
weekly for a couple of months now, which is something that I was never
able to do on the dirt due to the driving distance involved to ride. I
do hope to squeeze in a few woods rides soon, but I'm going to have to
suck it up and renew my AMA membership first.

Hope all y'all are doing well.

The only local(ish) legal riding worth the effort is either enduros or
dual sport events that require an AMA membership. I'm not a big fan of
the AMA, but always end up unhappily renewing so that I can ride these
events.

I've been out 3 times so far.

Needed to use some trials skills on some very narrow sharp-walled
stream crossings... *anyone* can do it on a lite bike!

Yep. You should bring the XRL to an event. Throw on some trials tires
and I'm sure you'd win.

Hey, I might be in your neck of the woods next week - plans still very
much up in the air. Not sure if I have a good email address for you or
not - will the one associated with your google account get to you?
