Yes, my neighbor's silver maple is right in the crosshairs.
I'm 300 paces from the beach, 13 feet above mean high tide. Plus this
is an astronomical high tide, so... 5 1/2 and 6 feet above mean in the
am and pm tides on a calm day. That leaves me 7 feet for storm surge
and waves.

I have a bad feeling about my dune that I rebuilt last winter. Let's
hope the beach grass set some good roots.
