gas gas ran on 3 yr old gas today...
the stale gas was treated with pri-g & stabil and i wondered if it would
run okay in sweetbaby... so i mixed up a gallon of synth 2smoke stale
gas and she fired up 3rd kick and proceeded to romp about, mind you i
had on all the proper safety gear of a qwad rider so i had to keep it
tame. so there i go shorts military hiking boot safety glasses hell-mutt
& a tee shirt to go for a quick lap around the back forty.. the chickens
were up by the house with my wife she held out her hand in the "what"
pose as the chickens ran over to her sandals & huddled about.. i found
it funny they sought her as the great protector from the infernal
rumbling of the mighty gasgas clearing its throat... yes i did check the
air filter for mice & the chain for oil, squished the tires and added
some air to about 12 psi (calibrated hand grip method)
so the field that i wasn't able to get corn into was about handle bar
high + a foot with weed/ hay mix. so the likely hood of seeing any
gopher condominiums was slim. being that i was filling my boots with
sead & such i moved to the back center of gravity and kicked it up a
notch to exit the field and head to the woods. the woods was
considerably cooler and moist.... the poison ivy full bloom and
jewelweed clung to my brake lever like a cow shifting it's cud. the
creak crossing was surprisingly dry and i went to the back section to
check for fallen trees.. (windfall profits) abound back there so i guess
i'll be taken the ford back there later with the chainsaw to move a few
cords up to the house. ran by mom's and dad waved out the window as i
saw mom by the piano tickling the ivories (could hear her since
sweetbaby was making her own music) i did a quick loop around the
swimming pond and onto the runway for a blip & 1/2 to make sure my legs
were brushed off from the weeds... guess the stabil & pri-g stale gas
works just fine.... off to go bug the wife & kids seeya-alls later

Well, you got lucky. I will never dump gas in any carbs again that sit
over winter. Im a drain the bowl gas tank kinda guy now.

the older gas was from a storage tank i'm experimenting with to see if i
can store for extended periods... with out loosing the important zap
so far so good...
the john deere on the other hand needs a bit of a going over, sigh...
