john,
Try 10.5 in the rear and 11 in the front. (12 if the front if you
aren't picky as to what you run into.)
If it's super soft and muddy, drop those numbers by one psi.
Wear roost protection on your back, unless you like brown backed
clothing.
Good Riding,
Jim
It has been in my plans to ride the White Rock Mountain Enduro with
RahRah this Sunday.
http://www.blackjackenduro.com/flyers/2009WhiteRockFlyer.pdf
It's raining up there today, and "isolated thundershowers" are
forecast for Sunday. I sure hope that it's not going to be too wet for
me to light a smoke at the resets.

okay i'll drop the psi a tad to 10-12
(i sometimes run into things in the woods)
i have a drum to wash of the brown back
then hang them on a tree to dry.
i really should look into getting one of those old
school Maytag washers with the hit & mis engine <grin>

That's pretty stiff. I run 10-11 rear and 12 front here in boulder
country. For soft goo, I'd be thinking more like 6-8 PSI.

12 psi front/rear here. I have lots of mud, but I have my fair share
of pointy rocks...
don't leave home w/o a rim lock.

obviously i'm paranoid about pinch flats &
having to do an infernal trail side changeroo...
So i normally ride slower than mike w.
& keep the psi on the high side...
speaking of that... I freaked out Jim's
friend Jack whom i sent sweet baby into
for a bit of maintenance... i clinched the bike
into a crate then noticed the tires were
squishing too much so i aired them up with out
a air gauge to ~40psi then i forgot to warn
him to let the air back out before taking it
for a spin LOL...maybe i should have loosened
the spark plug, wd40 the brakes &
armor alled the seat & grips
