Dear All,
the DT65MX starts puking oil after running for a few mins, stops leaking
when engine is shut off.
Seems to me like a genuine pressurised gearbox, a feature a 2stroke should
not have afaikt.
Soooo....either faulty righthand seal, cracked cranckshafthousing or torn
midgasket (ify you happen to know better/more, please do tell).
The first being most likely, me attacks it from that side.
And that is where i need your help...
As mr Y. Amaha designed it, righthand seal is hidden under the sprocket that
drives the clutchbasket.
Do i have to remove clutchbaske first to give way for the little sprocket on
the cranckshaft?

If you know the year, online fiche might give an indication just
by looking.

But if it's the same as the other small yamaha 2-strokes, MX80,
GT80, YZ60, yes you do.
Go fast. Take chances.

Every bike that i've been into is made that way.

Oh, ok.....so it goes from plug&play to wrench&pay...what else is new.
Maybe i can replace the cranckshaftbearings too while i am at it...then i
get to see the full cranckshafthousing, and definitly have the need to
replace midgasket.
Classic win-win-win situation?
