Hey my kids are growing (like that's a news flash)

Okay so I'm thinking the kids should be upgraded to a size larger the xr50 &
pw80 have served well, but I'm thinking they need to shift one to the
right.... I would like to keep the girl friendly no stalling autoclutch
style but to get a light slightly taller size I'm not thinking that's out
there in a sedate 2 stroke mild power delivery style bike, any
recommendations??

Sticking to the auto-clutch, you have several choices to upgrade for the
XR50, no choices more than an inch taller for the PW 80 without going to a
manual clutch.

Bike                                           Seat Height
Honda XR-50                               21.6
Honda XR/CRF-70                       26.1
Yamaha PW-80                          25.10
Yamaha TTR-90                          24.6
Kawasaki KLX-110                      25.6
KTM 50 Senior Adventure            25.6

You might check into putting a Rekluse or EFM autoclutch on a bigger bike as
well. Or.... find somebody with the right size bike (manual clutch) that
will let you try. You might be surprised.....My youngest rode the TTR-90 for
about a year and it took him all of about 2 minutes to have the clutch down
pat when we moved to the TTR-125L, which BTW has a super-easy clutch pull
compared to his brothers XR-100.

Go with the TT-R or the KLX.  Skip the Sierra Club red bikes.

They'll figure the clutch out pretty quickly if they've already
got the rest figured out.  Go let them sit on the small wheel
TT-R125.

the odd thing is they don't seem motivated to ride...
yes they will ride if i get out all the stuff and
start the bike help them put on their gear and
point them in the right direction???? man at that
age i was making room room noises on my bicycle..
oh well i guess girls are different... anyhow the youngest will
move into the pw80 fine since she is the more aggressive girl
and is now the right size for it... the 10 year old is getting big
for the pw80 and i would like a larger light bike, i'm
thinking rt100 wondering if there are others i should look at.

 John,
If you want to stay with the auto clutch, take the 10 year old by
the Kawasaki shop, and see if the KLX110 is a good size for her.

I've heard lots of good stuff about them.
