needed to make a little trench to drain
upper field, since it's too muddy to take the tractor without
making huge ruts in the lawn I donned my knee high boots
& slung a shovel over my shoulder... not one of my
better planned out ordeals... boots should have been
a bit bigger or none at all... the sucking sound when
I shifted weight should have been my first clue things
were going to suck.. well 3 hours later I had left boot
1/2 filled with muck & foot right boot only
came off twice and I was able to fall back into the boot
without landing on my butt (shovel acted like third leg)
I now have a small trench and the field is oozing in the
right direction again... (instead of the little lake it was making)

I should have taken the bike out and spun the rear tire
