I don't know what it is, but I just don't have the huge desire to ride my
GasGas these days. The thing is, I know how happy riding makes me, so
what's my freaking problem?
With that said, I plan to work on the bike this weekend. I have a new chain
and sprockets to install, a spark arrestor to swap with the Y2K GasGas and
need to go back to the smoother LLK needle. I just gotta pick up some
fluids to complete the job. AKA BEER!

You're old.
I ran into the same problem a few years back. I think it was the
GasGas killed it - I wasted an entire riding season mucking with that
bike. The next year, I thought that maybe buying a new bike would get
me all jazzed to ride again, so I bought a 250X. 3 weeks later I
bought the 125R. Ironically, I finally did get the GG running good,
so I've been riding it and still have yet to put any appreciable hours
onto my new Hondas. I think I have about 5 hours on the 250X, and the
125 still hasn't seen dirt.
OTOH, I got another new ride(r) a couple of weeks ago that I AM jazzed
about - rescued it from across the street:

Not old... just getting a little lazy. It is curable. Make a set ride
time with some buds and go do it...

My problem is that I don't have any time to set.

That is a problem... but make time when you can, even if it is
occasionally.
