went for a short hop around the back 40...
<Noah is building an arc type weather>
I dodged the thunderclouds yet somehow got stuck
in a downpour... it was refreshing to say the least
the mud was fantastically slippery, the gasgas
never left 2nd gear... sweetbaby has the perfect tractor like
motor for lugging about the slop then blipping it a bit
to slid the rear into the proper orientation...
I have come to the conclusion my goggle helmet setup
was sub par for the conditions so I flipped
the goggle up on top of the visor and road on carful
not to play jousting games with the douglas fir trees.
anyone recommend a fog free idea better than spitting
in the goggles & rubbing it around like old school scuba guys

swampthing has nothing on me

lc john,
I suggest either "Fog Cat" made by E.K Ekcessories, Inc out of Utah,
or "No Fog". Not sure where the No Fog is made. Fog Cat is a paste
in a little earplug style container that you wipe on and wipe off. No
Fog is a spray but not as good. I use the Fog Cat on my prescription
glasses, sunglasses, goggles, and my scuba mask. Dust and dirt will
just rinse off.

tanks a bunch
(i really should have know the mask stuff
would work on goggles/glasses)
i'll unpack the "bag" and see what the seal
thru in my bag last week... hopefully it's
the good stuff, if not i'm getting the paste
(my bottle of drops got lost in a night dive)
normally i have enough air flow to avoid
fogging but the humidity was 100% & i was
huffing & puffing to keep upright...

ouch, 500mm rain in 15 days, twice the historic average.
flooded streets,
hills sliding down,
total chaos.
workmates left home 6:15 am and arrived almost 10am
riding my little 125cc, I left home 6:45 and was at work by 7:30...
Gotta love motorcycles!!! Now I just had the news that I will be "on
call" on the extended weekend (thu-sun) and they "gifted" me with a
laptop. Hope the rain stops by the time I'm ready to go home or else
I'll have an expensive paper weight...

500mm that's like long than my foot.
if you don't have a pelican case or a Halliburton <grin>
wrap laptop with two trash bags then place inside
tee-shirt, then inside a backpack.... my city bike had
a cooler bolted to the rear rack that was water tight...

in order to get ahead in life all you have to do
is work half days, it doesn't matter if it's
the 1st 12hours, or the 2nd
