It seems led stuff has improved quite a bit...
I'm considering IR for less intrusive nighttime stuff, <not sure if i
want to go that route> & Cree/array for general lighting.
has anyone retro fitted the head lamp on a Dual sport yet?
the bicycle led clamp on style or jeep off road type look promising for
lighting up the sides to supplement the straight on view of the
headlight. one would think they could recharge relatively easy from the
stator provided you change out the headlight to not tax the system too
much....

Sometimes I think of snagging some high-power white LEDs and making
some lights...

yep, i put some 12v led strips in the cargo
area of the van. it really helps you see where
that drain snake rolled off to or where the
pre-oiled air filter in the zip lock bag is
stashed. while the idea of putting together
an array of Cree's......... I've come to
the realization i have less time to tinker
given other responsibilities....
