I think the 2007 Honda will go down in history as a true ugly duckling,
and in so many ways - physical appearance, tangible results, erroneous
concept...

And Pedrosa gets the bike with the shiny tank cover. It figures.

Seems to me "shiny" is not the only difference. Am I wrong?

Carl wouldn't have a clue, I don't imagine, he's only trying to keep
sharp on his pithy, sarcastic and snide two-sentence quips, which is
about all he brings to this NG, sadly. But, yes, the tanks are unlikely
to be the same on Pedrosa's and Hayden's machines, one has to believe
HRC learned something about their preferences in tank shape and how it
impacts their body position and the weight balance on the bike this year.
