My view is that it's our job to resist this modern
'politically-sensitive, enviromentally-conscious' bullshit, rather
than roll over and accept it.

I'm gonna touch on this from a different angle. The lack of press coverage
of the event makes it seem even more taboo. It is different than we see in
the stick and ball main stream sports too. If the stars of those sports
doing something of this nature it gets reported. Here it is hushed up and
not spoken about fully. As a fan I'm interested in the happenings in the
sport, good and bad. I feel the coverage was less than forth coming and it
is another thing that seperates us from the "real" sports.

I agree. The 1st I heard about this was here:
http://www.cyclenews.com/ShowStory.asp?HeadlineID=3D12439 &
http://www.cyclenews.com/ShowStory.asp?HeadlineID=3D12442

A quote from the latter: "The nature of Lawrence's and Hill's offenses
have been reported elsewhere in the media."

I looked for an hour and couldn't find anything until the above
referenced racerhead. I was at the race Sun and when I 1st read it on
cyclenews I thought it was a fight between the 2 due to a racing
incident. But I never saw it. And thought they were buds

Do you just go along with everything that the world says to you? Do
you never stand up and disagree?
