Another red flag on the warm up!
Spies is trying to check out, Mat is back in it.
Tommy's fading, at the flag it's Spies, Miggy and you know who, followed by
Yates and Hodgy...
Roger and the other guy were transported to the hospital, no word at this
time
We are outta here, Southbound and down...

What's up with Hodgson? Is he riding slower or are *those* Ducatis
slower?

Even though Barber is wide, it's a tight twisty deal, not the kind of
flowing track the Duc's seem to excel on. Did you hear about the shoving
match he and Mat got into on Sat? I didn't see it but I got it from a good
source that Mat took exception to Hodgy's riding during SB Q and later
showed up in the Duc pits to explain the facts of life to the "limey SOB,"
Hodgy was having none of that shit and they had to pull them apart, at least
that's what I heard. Sounds good anyway...

No more Mr. Nice Guy, right?
In BSB, Lavilla and Haslam seem to be able to ride them fast pretty much
anywhere. And places like Knockhill and Mondello are not exactly fast
and flowing.
BTW. Lavilla and Haslam were in another class at Thruxton. But Lavilla
was noticeably smoother than Haslam who looked like the rear was very
loose. Surprising that he should still set it up so it wants to back in
all the time after it swung round and bit him at Brands. Of the rest,
Kiyonari looked very, very smooth and fast but the Honda didn't quite
have the legs of the Ducatis and he still got mugged by Karl Harris.
Then there was Shakey Byrne. Two good rides from way back on the grid.
But his style was strange. He was turning in early and then running wide
over and over again.
Then there's Bayliss and Corser. Both of them are riding harder than
anyone else on the track. Great to see. It was just like Corser vs
Fogarty, Bayliss vs Edwards, Slight vs everyone. Cracking stuff.

Hey, he paid his dues last year, so fug um! It's considered an agressive
move(as well as unsmart) to come into another's pit and start talking smak,
prolly lucky Mat didn't get "smacked" with a malet.(by the way, it was
"limey bastard," not SOB, sorry)

Both the Honda's here looked strong motorwise, but the Kaw's looked super
strong, though Barber isn't really a good place to compare engines as SB's
hardly, if ever get out of 3rd gear. I think not being able to change
gearing may have hurt the Duc's, they just were really never in it, after
the restart Mat went thru them both in a corner or so...

Yeah, I can't wait till the inevitable happens and they start bangin' on
each other....
