La Ducati sceglie Stoner. Checa con Cecchinello
Dopo aver fatto la corte ad Hayden, a Melandri, aver flirtato con
Gibernau (con l'intenzione per=F2 di utilizzarlo come terza scelta) la
Ducati alla fine ha scelto...Casey Stoner. Sar=E0 dunque il bollente
australiano ad affiancare Loris Capirossi, nel 2007.
La decisione di Livio Suppo =E8 stata una sorpresa, perch=E9 le
quotazioni del ragazzo di Kurri-Kurri erano fortemente in discesa.
Qualcuno in Marlboro, per=F2, ha fatto chiaramente capire di non gradire
una minestra riscaldata cos=EC alla fine la scelta ha premiato la linea
verde. Come immediata, e diretta, conseguenza dell'ingaggio di
Stoner, Lucio Cecchinello ha concluso un accordo lampo con Carlos
Checa, che lascia dunque la Yamaha lasciando Herv=E9 Poncharal e la
Dunlop in braghe di tela.
La verit=E0 =E8 che mai come in questo momento la MotoGP lamenta una
scarsit=E0 di piloti. Al momento, infatti, sono ancora alla ricerca di
qualcuno che guidi, la Kawasaki (per rimpiazzare Shinja Nakano), la
Ducati-D'Antin (potrebbe rimanere Hofmann ma Cardoso =E8 in forte
dubbio), il team Honda-Gresini (per la seconda guida, ma magari dopo il
garone che ha fatto sar=E0 riconfermato Toni Elias), il team
Yamaha-Dunlop (entrambi i piloti) e la neonata Ilmor (c'=E8 Garry
McCoy, ma chi guider=E0 la seconda X3?).
Complessivamente ben otto piloti. Niente male per la categoria che ha
lasciato a casa Alex Barros e Max Biaggi.

stoner's has a habit of stepping off. definitely not a good one to
have!

So does that mean Sete Gibernau with Gresini? Hey, maybe he will win
another race? Or will he be on the Dunlop Yamaha?

Wait a minute, didn't you say earlier he'd never win again? If so, why would
anyone hire the loser? Oh, that's right, he's a EuroMed and retirement comes
in BSB. Yeah, that 'splains it...
