In DSB on an Aprilia RSV-R. Against 600-4s. How does that work then? Or
does the tuning restrictions mean it will be an overweight lump?

Maybe the answer is that it doesn't work. But hard to even speculate,
because DMG hasn't made public any machine-specific TIFs yet, so we
don't even know something as basic as minimum weights. I guess they'll
get to that next month...
Btw, I note that the Daytona 200 entry list doesn't include a single
Ducati 848 - last summer we were all pretty much agreed that was the
best machine in this class, right? Makes one wonder how much real
interest Ducati has in racing here, and if DMG has backed the wrong
horse(s)...

Is there a URL for the entry list?
Ducati was only ever going to be the same private team, wasn't it? Did
anyone suggest it would be any more than that?
Hodgson on Corona Honda, is that confirmed?

Here's a link to all the various AMA documentation:
http://www.amasuperbike.com/news.cfm?cid 458&rr=no
Pegram is doing ASB this year, and there are a couple other private
Ducatis listed as entered in that class. I note that they're all listed
as 1098Rs. But there are no Ducatis among the 63 bikes listed for DSB. I
wasn't expecting a full factory effort by them, they'd pretty much ruled
that out last summer, but maybe a second rider at Pegram or something,
or even enough backing to encourage a minor team or two to run their
bikes. Hell, the contingency payoff would be guaranteed if someone would
just step up. There are 4 Buells and 5 Aprilias listed, and it's not
like all those are getting major factory backing. So it would seem
Ducati has made no effort at all to get bikes on the grid, even with the
advantages their machine must have.
Btw, there are only two Hondas listed beyond the Erion entries, there
are none in SS, and there are four in ASB, one being the Hodgson Corona
entry, another Jake Holden (who raced Hondas for Corona last year), and
also Jeff Tigert, who is also one of the two Hondas listed in DSB and
unlikely to double beyond Daytona. SS is all Japanese 600s (17 of them),
and MOTO-GT has a total of 19 entries in the two classes, 8 of those
Japanese bikes, 3 of those 600s in GT1; there are also 2 Aprilias, 2
Buells (GT1) and 3 Ducatis (GT2).
