July 3 - Aug 2 in Kansas? I live in Kansas City and have to be
grateful that there's a national within an hour's drive now, but I
gotta say, what, are they crazy? I don't even want to commute on a
motorcycle in August, let alone dress in leather and exert myself.
It'll likely be 95-100 F and 80-90% humidity all weekend. As a
spectator veteran of the summer '93(?) Gateway St. Louis race I have
to wonder if these people will ever learn that the midddle/lower mid-
west is a sauna in the summer months? I seem to remember lots of
complaints about the heat.

I hear ya', there's not much I do in the daytime outside in August, but
whaddaya gonna do? That said, moving Road Atlanta back to the Spring
was very cool...
