I know it's a horrible suspicion, but it must be somewhere in the back
of everyone's mind.
Laguna Seca almost doesn't count, in the sense of it being Hyden's
track and nobody else's.
Rossi has fallen a few times, but was the end-of-championship fall
genuine? Rossi is a multi-year champ, and he likes Nicky, and he has
a healthy optimism that he'll take the crown again in 2007 in any
case.
I've been away from the newsgroups for months, so maybe this has been
sewn up and buried by now, but ---- NH is NOT looking like even a
podium racer right now. And hey, I like Hayden a lot.

NO, Yamaha *engineering* did, cost TheDoctor 60 points....

Actually that should have been Verm/Suzukis race

Once again this year show the level of Hayden and of course Rossi

No, Rossi choking and binning it during the most crucial race of the season
is what cost him

Except Hayden is World Champ, as he deserved to be (not choking and all)

Um, no

How is it "Hayden's track" exactly?

Yes. He cracked under the pressure and deservedly lost his title

No, I think the MotoGP paddock would have suffered heavy critisism if
Rossi had won the championship after Pedro' torpedoed the Kentucky
Fried Kid at Portugal. A win from Rossi (or 2nd, 3rd, 4th)etc would
have been enough to gain him another title and this year might well
have started out with a number of rider clashes.
